Abstract

The magnetising device has at least two identical elliptical solenoids arranged coaxially and with air gaps between them. In the centre of the air gap there is a measuring coil for the magnetising test channel. The current-compensating coil ofthis channel is coaxial with either solenoid. An outgoing and a return conductor connect the solenoids which are connected in the same direction and in series. These conductors form part of the single-turn secondary winding of the step-Down transformer and are designed as a hollow cylinder. They are connected at their ends by collectors, the return conductor being inside the outgoing conductor and coaxial with it.
