Abstract

An apparatus for determining the position of a mobile member (12) relative to a fixed support member (11) comprises a transformer (21) containing respectively a ferromagnetic core (13) mobile with said mobile member (12), a primary winding (20) which can be connected to supply means, and a secondary winding (19) which can be connected to processing means, said primary and secondary windings being mounted mechanically rigid with said fixed support member (11) and being disposed coaxial to each other and wound in solenoid form so as to define in their interior a tubular duct arranged to receive said mobile core (13).
