Abstract
The high voltage transformer has an innder cylinder winding of two parallel connected coaxial components (1), and an adjustable transformer with a number of fine voltage tapping stage (2). On each of the input conductors are tubular members of insulation material (3, 4, 5, 6, 7). In the outer winding are gaps (3', 4', 5', 6', 7') in the insulating tubes for radial conductors. There are also a number of layers of insulation material, typically three, with sector shaped cutouts with lips to enable neighbouring layers to be overlapped. Central conductors are conveyed into the arrangement through a thick walled tube (10) of insulation material.
