Abstract

The strap consists of a flexible band with a toothed strip on one side, and a clamp head with a slot at one end. The clamp head has a toothed joining piece, corresponding to the toothed strip, to fasten the strap after it has been passed around an object and inserted into the slot. The joining piece (6) is flexible, and has a manually operated release (9), for the engaging teeth (2). The release consists of a projection (9) at the outer end of the joining piece, which is accessible from the outer side of the clamp head (3). The joining piece is connected to the strap (1) via a flexible neck, and the projection consists of a rib, extending transversely at a distance from the toothing.
