Abstract

1519233 Band clamp BOWTHORPE-HELLERMANN Ltd 8 Feb 1977 [8 April 1976] 14428/76 Heading E2B A band clamp comprises a flexible strap 12 bearing serrations 13 and an integral head containing toothed pawl 28. In the rest position the crests of the teeth 34a, b, c of the pawl lie in a common plane perpendicular to that of strap 12, whereas surface 40 of passage 22 diverges from this common plane so that tooth 34c nearest the pawl lies nearest the surface 40. Projection 28a may be provided to limit the rotation of the pawl.
