Abstract

The system is for use with refrigeration fluids after expansion and before compression, and incorporates a housing (16) accommodating the refrigeration gas reheating circuit, and also an anti-freeze liquid sprayer (24) which prevents ice formation on the circuit which is heated by the ambient air. The anti-freeze liquid can be arranged to circulate in a heat exchanger where it heats the refrigerating fluid, being sprayed in a housing where it is reheated by air delivered by a fan. It can be circulated by pump and passed through a filter retaining dirt and separating water from it. The pump can be run continuously, stopped automatically dependent on the external temperature, or controlled by a time switch.
