Abstract

The system is used esp. for heating or air conditioning of rooms, and for generating hot water and for drying purposes, in industry or agriculture. Thermal losses in the systems are prevented by storage of heat at low temperatures and heat can be stored for long periods. Latent heat of fusion is used for making the storage units smaller. The system has primary circuit for heat exchange between the environment and the primary heat transfer fluid. A storage vessel is held on practically constant temperature pref. between five and twenty degrees due to the latent heat of fusion of heat storing material. A heat pump with compressor condenser and evaporator form a cycle with readily liquefied working fluid. The evaporator and condenser, are thermally connected with the primary cycle, storage vessel and the consumer cycle.
