Abstract

A milk counter comprises a transparent baseplate and a stainless steel envelope on which is mounted a transparent reservoir where the milk and air mixtures passes via a tube. Air is removed from the mixture in a chamber of the reservoir by passing the air through a channel in the stainless steel cover using a slight vacuum. Milk level is controlled at the level of a protrusion in the cover by electrical circuits which operate valve solenoids. Milk quantity is counted in a chamber with a membrane which operates a microswitch connected into a control panel.
