Abstract

There are longitudinal trailer members to support the container and these are mounted, in the usual way, on wheels and there is a towbar. The trailer platform, has both longitudinal and transverse guides for the container. There is a bogie (7), to receive the container, which is on rollers so as to move over the trailer and the bogie can be housed when the container is in position. The trailer has to be used in combination with a lorry having a flat platform which can be elevated at the front of the lorry. The container slides and rolls from the lorry on to the trailer.
