Abstract

The process uses liquid fuel, emulsified with predetermined proportions of air and water, the emulsifier having inlets for fuel, water and air, and a single outlet by which it supplies the burner. The emulsifier can be a vane-type air compressor, the water inlet being in its low-pressure zone. The design gives the mixture a maximum homogeneity, and can be used with all types of burner.
