Abstract

The main burner is an oblong block with a burner plate covering it and perforated by a large number of apertures, and a pilot burner is also included, while a thermostat works with the pilot burner to operate a stop valve in the regulator. The pilot burner forms part of the burner block, being separated from it by one or more bulkheads. The pipe delivering gas to the main burner can discharge via an injector and an air intake chamber into an open mixing tube in the lowermost part of the burner block, the pilot being mounted on the air intake chamber.
