Abstract

A double bevelled shotgun has a rack and pinion system with a toothed sector connected to a slider forming part of the cocking mechanism. A pair of spring loaded rocker arms one above the other, has the arms interconnected by a vertical pivot arm released by the trigger so that first one rocker swings down then the second, so that a hook at the front end of each is disconnected from a barbed extension underneath a horizontal lever to actuate each striker pin. Also included is an extraction and ejection device for the cartridges.
