Abstract

Two-way points system for roller conveyor uses a length of conveyer (4) which is connected to eigher of two other lengths (5, 6) by a movable section (1). The ends of the conveyer length are supported on plates (7, 8). A number of intermediate rollers (11) are mounted between the entry section and the movable part. These rollers are flexibly mounted on pairs of metal plates (15), adjacent rollers being held together by bolts through the plates. The ends of the rollers are mounted in blocks (13, 14) which slide on the plate (7) and which come together, at either side, depending on position. The other end of the movable section slides on the plate (8) and is locked in position by a pin (9).
