Abstract

The container (4), which may be blown plastic, has a deep groove (3) formed around its top. After filling, the stopper (2) is inserted and the duty stamp (8) is glued at its centre (9) to the top of the stopper. A cap (5a) fits over the stopper and is glued to the stamp all around its periphery (10). The sides (5) of the cap fit closely to the sides of the container and have an inward facing rib (6) locking in the container groove space. Pulling off the cap causes the stamp to be torn and destroyed. The closure may be transparent, allowing the stamp to be seen.
