Abstract

1311357 Tamperproof caps JOHNSEN & JORGENSEN (PLASTICS) Ltd 12 July 1971 [22 May 1970] 24935/70 Heading B8T A plastics tamperproof closure, having a snapon cap, tear strip and anchor band, is provided with projections 5, 6, 7 which engage with beads 1, 2, 3, respectively, on the neck of a container. The beads 2, 3 assist in retaining the anchor band on the container after the tear strip has been removed. There may be another bead (4) positioned below the bead 3 (Fig. 1, not shown). After removal of the tear strip, the cap remains connected to the anchor band by a hinge portion.
