Abstract

The assembly is particularly intended as a safety device for a hot water preparation plant, and contains two or more valves such as shut-off safety and/or non-return valves. The two housing parts are rotationally connected, each part containing an inlet and an outlet port and one or more valves. The rotary connection preferably comprises a stub-end in one part fitting in a bore on the other part, each having annular grooves to hold a common fixing ring and upstream therefrom annular grooves to hold a seal ring, such as an O-ring. The housing parts may be approximately tubular and arranged in T-form. One part may contain two shut-off valves in series and may have a non-return valve arranged between them. The other part may comprise a safety valve and may communicate with the downstream side of the second shut-off valve.
