Abstract

The invention concerns the waterproofing of joints between the moving and fixed parts of pivot windows. The waterproofing is provided by flexible sections which are attached to both parts of the pivot windows. The flexible section (17) is L shaped, the long side being of rectangular cross section with the part that is trapped by the closed window (18) being angled to the rearmost portion. Along part of the back face of the long side there is a mushroom shaped section which fits into the frames of the window. The short leg of the L (19) is profiled and acts near the hinge of the window.
