Abstract

The water/air-tight joint for door and window frames, consists of a fixing fillet placed on the opening of the fixed frame, this fillet being made of slightly flexible plastic, and at least one soft plastic element moulded onto the fillet, which, when the movable frame is closed, is compressed and bent up against the surface of the frame. The fillet (2) has a longitudinal flange (6) which is inserted into the groove (5) of the door or window, this flange having a self-adhesive surface (7) facing the fixed frame (1) so that each time the window or door is closed, it is pressed against the fixed frame.
