Abstract

The invention comprises a watertight joint between a door or window and its frame. The frame (7) contains a square shaped recess (6) into which is fitted a similarly shaped light alloy or hard plastic block (5). The centre of the block has a circular hole (4) which has an opening onto the upper face. Into this opening is placed a circular strip of an elastic material. Part of this strip projects from the opening and is rectangular in shape (10) and sits on the upper face of the block. There is also an arm which projects from the end of the projecting part.
