Abstract

Anti-spin device for fishing line is used with artificial bait which can be changed and easily, and is not liable to break under strain. A flat semi-circular weight (11) has a hole (14) and a groove (12) running through its thickness. A wire (16) passing through the hole has a line attachment loop (17) at one end. The other end is bent back 180 deg. to form a spring clip (20) wiht its free end shaped as a simple latch (21, 22). With a bait in the open loop (19), the spring clip is closed and the free end locked into a square cutout (13) in the weight.
