Abstract

The equipment secures the end of a fishing line to the main part, and comprises a clip (14) having at one end an attachment (17) for the lower end of the main part of the line. The end of the clip includes a spring (15) for detachably securing the loop on the end portion incorporating the fishing hook. The clip can be of spring steel wire, bent and folded to form a hook with a long arm (16) ending in a closed ring (17), to which the end of the main part of the line is attached. A short arm (18) ends in an elbow (20) hooked (19) at the end so as to engage with the long arm.
