Abstract

The fixture for attaching fishing line to the ends of rods consists of a piece (1) in which is a hole or eye (3). The piece is simply fixed onto the end as a sleeve by means of screwing, crimping, binding or welding. The end of the fishing line has a loop which is inserted through the hole (3) then onto the free end of the piece (5). A flexible ring (6) slides and locks the piece in position. Alternatively the fixture may also possess an elastic wire and a flexible sliding sleeve which is longer, to prevent the line becoming entangled on the rod.
