Abstract

The lamp (1) is rigidly mounted to a lug (2) lodged in the jaws of a fork (3) and held there by a screw (4). Its inclination to the horizontal can be adjusted. The fork is solid with a screwed piece (5) which goes through a loose fit hole of a bracket (7) on which is a locknut (6). The free end of the bracket has a pin (9) the free end of which is threaded (10). On the pin are two ball bearings (11) and (12), all secured to another bracket (13) fitted to the vehicle by bolts (15). The pin has a hole (16) in which is a lug piece (17). The free end of this engages with a tension spring (18). On straight roads the lamp points ahead. On curves the bracket (7) swings under centrifugal force and turns the lamp towards the inside of the curve.
