Abstract

Two panels of an industrial garment which are destined to form an arm hole in the garment have pref corresponding edges presenting two projecting flaps. The panels are pref superimposed and one edge folded over the other and stitched to secure the panels together along their edges. The two flaps are pref. secured together at one end by a transverse line of stitching and then folded back and stitched to form hemmed edges of an armhole. The armhole has a better appearance and is more hard wearing.
