Abstract

Furnace lining bricks have flat parallel upper and lower surfaces and flat end faces, the two longitudinal sides are reinforced so that in cross section they have the form of a flattened triangle vertically subdividing the brick into two halves. The triangular reinforcement extends over the whole length of the brick parallel to its upper and lower surfaces.
