Abstract

Twisting machine in which the fibres are dyed during the twisting process, whereby washing and fixing and secondary winding are dispensed with, comprises a vertical support spindle on which is mounted a horizontal yarn winding drum below which is disposed a twisting disc coaxial with the spindle below the lower end of which is arranged an array of fibre supply spindles each carrying a bobbin. - Supply spindles are equidistant from the support spindle, but the bobbin may be disposed in different places and the fibres which are drawn off over the head of the bobbins are passed over stationary guides before they are fed into the dyeing vat formed by an annular trough which is disposed concentrically below the support spindle.
