Abstract

The packages are supported in cylindrical compartments stacked around a central tubular pillar. Each compartment has a perforated false bottom wall and a perforated upper closure, plate and dye bleaching fluid, or drying air, is fed through the central pillar, outwardly into the spaces between the bottom wall and false bottom wall of each compartment via apertures in the pillar, and axially through the compartments into the chamber via the perforations in the closure plates. Large quantities of textile can be uniformly treated economically.
