Abstract

1381991 Textile treatment drum BRUCKNER APPARATEBAU GmbH 8 Jan 1973 [21 Feb 1972] 1052/73 Headings D1A and D1L [Also in Division F4] Apparatus for treating lengths of textile material with, for example, dyeing or chlorinated hydrocarbon cleaning liquids comprises a rotary drum 1 rotated about its longitudinal axis 2 by a drive (not shown), the interior of the drum being divided by perforated partitions 3 into a plurality of chambers 4 each containing a length of material 5 and having a depth T less than 1/5th of the drum diameter D. A single loading part 6 is provided for placing the material in the chambers 5. Inlets (not shown) may be provided for the introduction of treatment liquid and for the introduction of hot air or steam for use in subsequent drying of the treated material.
