Claims (14)

1. Förfarande för kontinuerlig polymerisation av en . eller flera α-olefiner i gasfas i en reaktor med en flui- 5 diserad bädd och/eller en mekaniskt blandad bädd, varvid 1( minst en α-olefin polymeriseras i närvaro av en katalysa-tor baserad pä en övergängsmetall, som hör till grupp IV, V eller VI i grundämnenas periodiska system, och i närvaro av en aktivitetsretardant, kännetecknat därav, 10 att aktivitetsretardanten tillsätts reaktorn kontinuer-ligt, varvid mängden retardant är sädan, att molförhällan-det mellan den tillsatta retardantmängden och den tillsat-ta α-olefinmängden är 10'8 - 10‘5, och varvid retardanten tillsätts med en strömningshastighet, som varierar med ti-15 den beroende pä polymerisationshastigheten eller över- gängsmetallhalten i den framställda polymeren sä, att po-lymerisationshastigheten eller övergängsmetallhalten i den framställda polymeren hälls väsentligen konstant.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, k ä n n e -20 tecknat därav, att aktivitetsretardanten tillsätts reaktorn i en sädan mängd, att molförhällandet mellan den tillsatta aktivitetsretardanten och den tillsatta a-olefi-nen (a-olefinerna) är 5 x 10'8 - 2 x 10~6.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, k ä n n e -25 tecknat därav, att aktivitetsretardanten är en po- lymerisationsinhibitor eller en elektrondonerande för-ening.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknat därav, att polymerisationsinhibitorn är 30 kolmoxid, koldioxid, koldisulfid, koloxisulfid, kväveoxid, peroxid, alkohol, tiol, aldehyd, keton, syre eller vatten.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknat därav, att den elektrodonerande föreningen är en amin, amid, fosfin, sulfoxid, sulfon, ester, eter 35 eller tioeter. 96032
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att katalysatorn är en katalysator av Ziegler-Natta-typ, som baserar sig pä magnesium, halogen, titan och/eller vanadin och/eller zirkonium. 5
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att katalysatorn baserar sig pä kromoxid, som föreligger pä en bärare baserad p£ en granu-lerad, eldbeständig oxid och som är aktiverad medelst vär-mebehandling. 10
8. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att α-olefinen (erna) innehäller 2 -8 kolatomer.
9. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att polymeristionen utförs vid ett 15 tryck av 0,5 - 5 MPa och vid en temperatur av 0 - 135 eC.
10. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att polymer is at ionen i gasfas utförs under bibehällande av arbetsbetingelserna väsentligen kon-stanta. 20
11. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 6, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att aktivitetsretardanten är syre, dimetylformamid eller koldioxid.
12. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 7, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att aktivitetsretardanten är kolmo- 25 noxid, syre eller vatten.
13. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 6 eller 7, kännetecknat därav, att aktivitetsretardanten är syre eller en amid.
