Tämän keksinnön kohteena on monikerroksinen ontelolaatta, joka käsittää kaksi pääasiallisesti tasomaista ulkoseinämää ja niitä yksikappaleise sti yhdistävät väliseinät, jolloin ainatcin toinen ulkoseinämä koostuu ainakin kahdesta tarttuvasti yhdistetystä, erilaisia muoveja olevasta kerroksesta. Tämän laatuiset ontelolaatat ovat valmistettavissa suulakepurista-malla ja niillä on tavallisesti pursutussuunnassa koko pituudella samana pysyvä profiili.
Julkaisun DE-OS 28 32 676 mukaan eräs tämän laatuinen monikerroksinen ontelolaatta valmistetaan suulakepuristamalla sisäkerros polykarbonaattimuovis ta ja ulkokerros akryyli-lasista, jolloin polykarbonaattimuovikerros on muodostettu kantavaksi ja olennaisesti paksummaksi kuin akryylilasikerros, jonka paksuus on ainoastaan 10 - 100 pm. Paksummat akryyli-lasikerrokset varoittavat säröjen polykarbonaattimuovi-kerrokseen siirtymisvaarasta selvästi akryylilasikerroksen murtuessa.
Tunnetut monikerroksiset ontelolaatat eivät ole kantavan polykarbonaattikerroksen suuren sitkeydn johdosta kovin iskunarkoja ja ovat ulomman akryylilasikerroksen suuren kemiallisen vastustuskyvyn johdosta hyvin säänkestäviä. Suuremmassa määrin käytetyn polykarbonaattimuovin johdosta nämä ontelolevyt ovat valmistettavissa olennaisesti kalliimmin kuin sellaiset ontelolaatat, jotka ovat yksinomaan akryyli-lasia. Niiden epäkohtana on kuitenkin rajoitettu iskusitkeys.
Syntyi tehtävä pääasiallisesti akryylasia, jolla on pienempi murtovenymä, olevien ontelolaattojen iskunarkuuden pienentämiseksi. Tämä tehtävä ratkaistaan tämän keksinnön mukaisella moni kerroksisella ontelolaatalla.

Eräs keksinnön mukainen sovellutusmuoto on esitetty osittain kuviossa 1 poikkileikkauksena.
Kuvio 2 esittää leikkausta laitteesta ontelolaatan valmistamiseksi .
Ainakin ulkoseinämä 1, sopivimmin molemmat ulkoseinämät 1 ja 2 käsittävät akryylilasia olevan kantavan kerroksen 4, jonka paksuus on yli puolet ulkoseinämän 1 ja 2 kokonaispaksuudesta. Se voi olla esim. 0,6 - 3 mm paksu. Ulkoseinämän 1 ja 2 sisäsivulle on sovitettu kerros 5 muovia, jolla on suurempi iskusitkeys kuin kerroksen 4 akryy 1 ila s illa.
Se on ohuempi kuin akryy 1 i1asikerro s 4, ja sen paksuus on esimerkiksi 0,05 - 0,5 mm, sopivimmin 0,1 - 0,2 mm.
Väliseinät 3, jotka sopivimmin sijaitsevat kohti suorasti ulkosein omia 1, 2 vastaan, mutta voivat olla sovitetut myöskin vinosti niihin nähden, voivat olla osittain mainittua akryylilasia ja osittain muovia, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä.
Ontelolaatan kokonaispaksuus d voi olla 6-60 mm. Väliseinät 3 ovat suunnilleen saman paksuiset kuin ulkoseinämät ja niillä voi olla välit a, jotka ovat 1-2 kertaa kokonaispaksuus ja jotka ovat sopivimmin 6 - 120 mm. Väliseinien ja ulkoseinämien paksuuden täytyy olla tarkoituksenmukaisesti 1/20 - 1/5 kokonaispaksuudesta. Kokonais leveys (poikittain väliseiniin nähden) voi olla 50 - 200 cm. Pituus (väliseinien suunnassa), kaupallinen pituus, on sopivimmin 2 - 20 m.
Akryylilasilla tarkoitetaan, mikäli ei tarkoituksellisesti toisin ilmoiteta, te rmop 1 ast i ses ti muokattavia, varsinkin suulakepuristettavia, sitkeyttä ei kohottavien lisäaineiden kanssa seostettuja metyyli a kryla atin homo- ja kopolymeere-ja, joilla on pieni murtovenymä, esimerkiksi 3-4 ?ό, jolloin me LyyJinkry laatin osuus un yli 90 py 1110-¾. Keksinnön mukaisten ontelolaattojen pienennetty iskunarkuus perustuu muovin kohotettuun murtovenymään, joka muovi muodostaa ohuen sisäkerroksen. Yllättävää kylläkin, iskunarkuus alenee jo selvästi, kun sisäkerroksen muovin murtovenymä on 1 - 2 % (absoluuttinen) suurempi kuin akryylilasin murtovenymä. Se on sopivimman yli 5 % ja voi olla yli 100 %, kun taas akryylilasin murtovenymä tavallisesti on alle 5 %. Molempien muovien murtovenymien suhde on tavallisesti 1,3:1. Muovin, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä, täytyy olla myöskin termoplastisesti muokattavissa, varsinkin akryylilasin kanssa yhdessä su ui akepuristettavissa. Hyvä tartunta akry y lilasiin on myöskin tärkeä. Edullisia muoveja ovat po1ykarbonaatit, erityisesti aromaattisista bisfeno-leista, kuten bisfenoli A:sta, koostuvat muovit, samoinkuin akryyli 1 a s ilaadut, joilla on suuri murtovenymä. Niihin kuuluvat sekapolymeerit, jotka sisältävät alle 90 paino-?» me t y y li me t a kr y laa 11 i a ja yli 10 paino-?i, sopivammin 15 -30 paino-?» ak r y y li akry laa t ti a (1-8 C-atomia alkyy liryhmässä ) ja seostetut akryy li lasilaadut, joissa on iskusitkeäksi tekevä lisäys. Tällaiset massat on tunnettu esim. julkaisusta DE-AS 2 253 689. Mainitut akryylilasi laadut, joilla on korotettu murtovenymä, eivät kuulu käsitteen "akryylilasi" piiriin edellä käytetyssä merkityksessä.
Valmistus tapahtuu sopivasti molempien kerrosten 4 ja 5 koekstruusiolla. Lisäksi kahden suulakepuristimen toisessa syötetyssä moni aιnesuulakkeessa 10 muodostetaan kaksi kaksoisnauhaa 6, 7. Tosiella suulakepuristime11a valmistetaan jakokanavista 11 termoplastiset nauhat 6 4 78866 muovista, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä ja toisella suulakepuristimella jakokanavista 12 termoplastiset nauhat 7 akryyli-lasista ja liitetään tarttuvasti toisiinsa ka k soisnau hoik si 6, 7, jolloin osanauha 6, joka on suuremman murtovenymän omaavaa muovia, nojaa moniainesuulakkeen 10 painimeen 13. Alueessa, jossa painin muuttuu välin välityksellä erilliseksi sydänkappaleeksi 15 (esitetty pilkkuviivoi 1la kuviossa 2), muovausmassaa tulee osanauhoista 6 väliin IA ja juoksee sieltä yhteen väliseinien 3 kanssa.
Molemmat muovit voivat olla osallisena väliseinien rakenteessa. Niiden jakaantuminen väliseinissä riippuu molempien muovilaatujen määräsuhtees ta, niiden sulatteiden Teologisista ominaisuuksista:, ja suulakkeiden geometriasta.
Tultuaan ulos suulakkeen suusta nauha kulkee sinänsä tunnetulla tavalla tyhjömuovau skanava n läpi, jossa se jäähdytetään pehmenemisiämpöti1a n alapuolelle. Sen jälkeen se paloitellaan halutun pituisiksi laatoiksi.

1. Monikerroksinen ontelolaatta, joka käsittää kaksi pääasiallisesti tasomaista ulkoseinämää (1, 2) ja niitä yksikappalei-sesti yhdistävät väliseinät (3), jolloin ainakin toinen ulko-seinämä koostuu ainakin kahdesta tarttuvasti yhdistetystä, erilaisia muoveja olevasta kerroksesta, tunnettu siitä, että ulkoseinämän kantava kerros (4) on akryylilasia ja muodostaa yli puolet ulkoseinämän kokonaispaksuudesta ja että akryylilasikerroksen sisäpuoliseen sivuun on sovitettu ohuempi sisäkerros (5), joka on muovia, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä kuin akryylilasilla.
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen ontelolaatta, tunnet-t u siitä, että muovin, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä, murtovenymä on yli 5 %.
3. Patenttivaatimuksen 2 mukainen ontelolaatta, tunnet-t u siitä, että muovin, jonka murtovenymä on suurempi, murto-venymän suhde akryylilasin murtovenymään on yli 1,3:1.
4. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen ontelolaatta, tunnet-t u siitä, että sisäkerros (5) on muodostettu polykarbonaatti-muovista tai sellaisesta akryylilasilaadusta, jonka murtovenymä on kantavan kerroksen (4) akryylilasin murtovenymää suurempi.

Menetelmä patenttivaatimusten 1-4 mukaisen monikerroksisen ontelolaatan valmistamiseksi muodostamalla kaksi nauhaa termoplastisesta muovausmassasta ja muovaamalla toinen sivu ainakin yhdestä nauhasta, muodostamalla väliseinät ja yhdistämällä molemmat nauhat väliseinien (3) yhteenvirtauksella toisen nauhan (6) kanssa tai siitä muodostettujen väliseinien kanssa termoplastisessa tilassa ja jäähdyttämälä näin muodostetut nauhat ja väliseinät alle pehmenemislämpötilan, tunnet- 6 78866 t u siitä, että ainakin toinen nauha (6-7) valmistetaan termoplastista akryylilasia olevan osanauhan (7) ja termoplastista muovia, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä, olevan osanauhan (6) tarttuvalla sidoksella termoplastiseksi kaksoisnauhaksi (6 - 7) ja että tämän kaksoisnauhan se sivu, johon muovia, jolla on suurempi murtovenymä, oleva osanauha (6) nojaa, muovataan väliseiniksi tai annetaan virrata yhteen toisen nauhan kanssa. 7 78866
