Claims (11)
1. Förfarande för framställning av en terpolymer bestäende av 30-55 mol-% maleinsyraanhydrid, 30-65 mol-% akrylamid eller metakrylamid och 5-15 mol-% av en tredje monomer, vilken tredje monomer väljs av de följande: styren, (Ä-metyl styren och 1-alken med 4-10 kolatomer, och vilken terpolymer har ett viskositetsför-hällande av cirka 1,02-1,10 i dimetylsulfoxid vid en koncentration av 0,5 g/dl och en löslighet i vatten av under 0,10 g/g lösning vid rumstemperatur, kännetecknat därav, att en blandning av maleinsyraanhydriden och akrylamiden eller metakrylamiden uppvärms tili minst 120°C i en kedjeöverförande lösningsmedelsblandning, blandningen tillsätts 2-20 vikt-% av en friradikalinitiator och den tredje monomeren, och blandningen uppvärms ytterligare vid minst 120°C, tills polymerisationen är väsentligen fullständig, och att det kedjeöverförande lösningsmedlet innehäller 15-85 vikt-% av ett aromatiskt lösningsmedel, nämligen dialkylsubstituerad bensen med 1-4 kolatomer i varje alkylgrupp och 15-85 vikt-% keton, nämligen dialkylketon med 1-5 kolatomer i vardera alkylgruppen.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att den tredje monomeren är styren.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att terpolymeren innehäller 35-50 mol-% maleinsyraanhydrid, 40-55 mol-% akrylamid och 5-15 mol-% styren.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att terpolymeren innehäller 41-45 mol-% maleinsyraanhydrid, 45-49 mol-% akrylamid och 9-13 mol-% styren.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att terpolymeren hydrolyseras medelst vatten eller en vattenhaltig bas.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att av terpolymerens hydrolyserade form bildas ett alkalimetallamin- eller ammoniumsalt.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att terpolymeren efter polymerisationen isoleras och att terpolymeren behandlas med vatten vid cirka under 30°C för avlägsnande av oreagerad monomer.
