Abstract
Keksintö koskee menetelmää puunkäsittelylaitteen (14) toiminnan ohjaamiseksi työkoneessa (10), joka puunkäsittelylaite on liitetty työkoneen puomiston (12) päähän (19) pyörityslaitteen (13) kautta halutun suuntauksen aikaansaamiseksi puunkäsittelylaitteelle toimenpidettä varten ja jossa menetelmässä pyörityslaitteella suoritettava puunkäsittelylaitteen suuntaus sidotaan puomistolla suoritettavan toiminnan perusteella. Puunkäsittelylaitteen suuntaus sidotaan puomiston pään asemaan (A, B), määritetään puomiston pään asemaa toimintaa suoritettaessa, puomiston pään aseman perusteella suunnataan pyörityslaitteella puunkäsittelylaite sanotun sidonnan mukaisesti. Lisäksi keksintö koskee myös vastaavaa järjestelyä ja metsäkonetta.
