UN METODO PARA REVESTIR O UNIR O IMPREGNAR UN SUBSTRATO. CONSISTE EN EFECTUAR LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1) APLICAR AL SUBSTRATO UN MONOMERO DE AMONIO CUATERNARIO (I) O (II) OPCIONALMENTE, COMO MINIMO, JUNTO CON OTRO MONOMERO MONOETILENICAMENTE INSATURADO, QUE TENGA UN GRUPO H<2C=C-. 2) OPCIONALMENTE AJUSTAR EL PH DE LA COMPOSICION A 9 O MAS. 3) OPCIONALMENTE AUMENTAR LA TEMPERATURA DE LA COMPOSICION. 4) SECAR O DEJAR QUE SE SEQUE. 5) CURAR DICHA COMPOSICION. COMO SUBSTRATO SE EMPLEA VINILO, CUERO, PIGMENTO DE IMPRESION, PAPEL, GENERO NO TEJIDO O FIBRA NATURAL O SINTETICA O BIEN PUEDEN EMPLEARSE MATERIALES RIGIDOS TALES COMO MADERA, METAL, MINERAL U OTRAS SUPERFICIES.
