CONSISTE EN EFECTUAR LA CONDENSACION DE UN ESTER TRANS-3-(4-METOXIFENIL) GLICIDICO (II) CON 2-NITROTIOFENOL EN PRESENCIA DE UN ACIDO DE LEWIS O UN COMPLEJO DE ESTAÑO DE 2-NITROTIEFENOL; O CON UN COMPLEJO DE ESTAÑO DE 2-NITROTIOFENOL. SE OBTIENE EL COMPUESTO (I) EN QUE R ES UN RESTO ESTER. LA CONDENSACION TIENE LUGAR EN UN DISOLVENTE A TEMPERATURAS DE 0 C A 80 C. EL ACIDO DE LEWIS SE SELECCIONA DE ENTRE TRIFLUORURO DE BORO, HALURO ESTANNOSO, HALURO ESTANNICO, HALURO DE ZINC, ALCANOATO ESTANNOSO, ALCANOATO ESTANNICO U OTROS.
