PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN DIMERO DE LA VINCA,ASI COMO DE SUS SALES DE ADICION DE ACIDO FISIOLOGICAMENTE COMPATIBLES DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE R1 ES EL RADICAL HIDROXI O ACETOXI. CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE HIDROLISIS DE LA 3"-(2-CLOROETIL)-3-ESPIRO-5"-OXADOLIDIN-2", 4"-DIONA DE VLB (O 4-DESACETIL VLB). LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN MEDIO ACUOSO ALCALINO, A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 25 Y 50C. EL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO SE SEPARA EN FORMA DE BASE LIBRE O DE UNA SAL DE ACIDO Y SE PURIFICA SIGUIENDO METODOS CONVENCIONALES. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES FAMACOLOGICAS COMO AGENTES ANTITUMORALES.
