Abstract

Un procedimiento para el tratamiento de un material absorbente en partículas, hinchable en agua, con objeto de aumentar su dispersabilidad en la sangre, cuyo procedimiento se caracteriza por poner en contacto el material absorbente con un compuesto hidrocarbonado que es un hidrocarburo alifático o un derivado sustancialmente no iónico del mismo, siendo el hidrocarburo alifático o su derivado no iónico no volátil y con un punto de fusión inferior a 35ºC, o es un haluro de alquil (C12-C18) trimetilamonio, para formar un recubrimiento de compuesto hidrocarbonado sobre la superficie de las partículas, siendo la cantidad de compuesto hidrocarbonado empleada en el tratamiento tal que permite el flujo capilar de la sangre a través de una masa de las partículas del absorbente.
