Abstract

Mecanismo de mando para freno de disco, con estribo flotante, cuyo estribo presenta una mordaza fija dotada de una guarnición de fricción sobre una cara del disco y una mordaza móvil dotada de una guarnición de fricción sobre la cara opuesta del disco, cuyo mecanismo es del tipo de palanca motriz articulada que arrastra en rotación a una rampa helicoidal conjugada fija y apoyada sobre la precedente por un tope helicoidal de agujas, y que desplaza así axialmente a una guarnición de fricción sobre el disco a apretar por intermedio de un sistema de compensación automático de desgaste, mientras que la otra guarnición de fricción se acerca igualmente al disco, cuyo mecanismo se caracteriza por el hecho de que está integrado por tres levas-tambores, con cuatro rampas helicoidales conjugadas, quedando una de las levas combinada con una de las guarniciones de fricción por intermedio de un sistema de compensación automático de desgaste.
