Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar N-etiletilendiamina, (NEED), caracterizado porque comprende hacer reaccionar etilendiamina (EDA) y un halogenuro de etilo, en una relación molar de EDA a dicho halogenuro de etilo de aproximadamente 1-20:1 y a una temperatura de -10ºC a 120ºC aproximadamente, en presencia de aproximadamente 0-50% en peso de agua, para obtener una mezcla de reacción de alquilación; neutralizar dicha mezcla de reacción poniéndola en contacto con una solución acuosa que contiene aproximadamente 1-2 equivalentes moleculares de un agente alcalinizante inorgánico basado en el halogenuro de etilo; separar la capa acuosa de la capa orgánica neutralizada y agregar a dicha capa orgánica aproximadamente 0,2-100% en peso, en base al peso de dicha capa orgánica, de un disolvente de hidrocarburo alifático apropiado.
