Abstract

Un método de tratar un artículo de aluminio, que comprende proporcionar un artículo que tiene un revestimiento de óxido anódico en su superficie que incluye una primera película de óxido poroso que tiene un espesor de al menos 3 micras, teniendo los poros de dicha película un material pigmentario inorgánico depositado en ellos, siendo el tamaño medio de dichos depósitos en sus extremos exteriores, con referencia la interfase de aluminio/óxido de alumino, al menos 26 nm, coloreándose el artículo en virtud de interferencia óptica, y formar una segunda película de óxido entre los fondos de dichos depósitos y la interfase aluminio/óxido de aluminio.
