Abstract
Un método de preparar un compuesto de urea con sal, óxido y/o hidróxido de un metal que tenga un índice de oxidación de 2, por lo menos, y que se caracteriza por tener el metal en la proporción mínima de una parte mola por 40 partes molares de urea y que sea capaz de formar partículas coloidales de una sal hidrolizada o parcialmente hidrolizada o de un óxido o un óxido hidratado al elevar el pH de una solución acuosa de 0,2M de un compuesto o una sal de metal a un valor situado entre 2 y 5, método que incluirá el poner en contacto la urea con la sal de metal, el óxido y/o hidróxido, seleccionándose de preferencia el metal entre el hierro y el aluminio y se emplee en la forma de una sal de los mismos, teniendo una solubilidad de por lo menos 1g/100 ml de agua, por ejemplo, un sulfato, nitrato o haluro de Fe+++ o Al+++, y, cuando la cantidad de urea sea la necesaria para satisfacer el valor de coordinación del metal, el producto se forma en partículas cuyo 50% en peso, por lo menos, tenga untamaño que oscile ente 0,5 5 mm.
