A device for preparing and levelling soil comprises transverse working members having one face substantially in or parallel to one working face of the device and another or other faces obtusely inclined to the first face. As shown the device comprises a head 10 stamped or pressed from sheet metal and so connected to a handle 12 that it may be turned over to present one face or the other to the ground.
