Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de compuestos de benzazepine que tiene la fórmula: **(formula- 01)** o una sal ácida de adición farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo, en donde R1 y R2 son hidrógeno, cloro, bromo, flúor, yodo, trifluorometilo, emino, nitro, hidroxi, alquili inferior, alcoxi inferior, sulfamilo, metiltio, metilsulfinilo, metilsulfonilo, triclorometilsulfinilo, tricolorometilsulfonilo, trifluorometilsulfonilo, R1 y R2 siendo iguales o diferentes, siempre que tanto R como R2 no sean hidrogeno ambos; y R3 y R4 son hidrogeno o alquilo inferior, cada grupo alquilo inferior o alcoxi inferior siendo de 1 a 3 átomos de carbono; caracterizado porque comprende desalquilar un compuesto de la formula:**(formula-02)** para producir el derivado N-insubstituido; preparar los compuestos en los cuales R3 es alquilo inferior, N-alquilar por acilación del derivado N- insubstituido seguida por reducción de la amida resultante; y preparar los compuestos en los cuales R4 es alquilo inferior,oxidando el derivado N-insubstituido a la correspondiente imina, y tratar dicha imina con un agente organométalico.
