Abstract

Un método y su correspondiente aparato para aplicar un cierre roscado en un envase, el cierre tiene medios de sellado en o hacia la corona del mismo, cuyo m¿todo consiste en aplicar el cierre al envase mediante la aplicación de un par torsión giratorio predeterminado al mismo, continuar la aplicación del cierre al envase hasta que se obtenga el par de torsión aplicado deseado y luego aplicar presión axial a la corona del cierre hacia y hasta el envase hasta que se siga aplicando el par de torsión simultáneamente, mediante lo cual la presión del cierre sirve para desenganchar las roscas a fin de vencer por lo menos cierta cantidad de la fricción entre los mismos para permitir que una mayor proporción del par de torsión aplicado se aplique al medio de sellado dentro del cierre.
