Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar catalizadores del tipo de óxido de cromo soportado, caracterizado porque comprende las operaciones de preparar una sílice porosa pura, para lo cual una sílice, resultante de convertir un compuesto de silicio-halógeno con un gas combustible que contiene hidrogeno, se convierte en un gel con al menos un peso igual de agua, y este gel se seca por pulverización para dar un gel de sílice que tiene un contenido de sodio de cómo máximo 200 ppm, un volumen de poros de al menos 1,0 cm3/g y un tamaño medio de partícula de al menos 10 u; depositar un compuesto de cromo sobre dicha silice; y calentar luego la combinación en una atmósfera no reductora.
