Abstract
A refrigeration circuit consists of a compressor (16) which supplies refrigerant to a condenser (17 or 18). The liquid refrigerant passes through the reservoir (19) the drier (20), the sight glass (21), the expansion valve (11), and evaporator (12) to return to the condenser (16). To use the heat dissipated by the condenser, it is cooled with water through the pipes (22). Using cooling water enables the condenser to be placed in any convenient position (e.g. 171). The heat in the cooling water is removed by a fan and the air used for heating purposes elsewhere. This heating can be supplemented with hot water, from a tank controlled by a valve. When heating is not required, the secondary condenser (18) is used which is air cooled by the fans (32).
