Abstract
Procedimiento para desalinizar agua, que comprende las operaciones de: alimentar agua salada a un recinto que define una zona de evaporación mantenida a presión subatmósferica; hacer hervir el agua en la zona de evaporación y permitir que el vapor de agua pase una zona de condensación; condensar el vapor en la zona de condensación y recoger agua desalinizada desde ella, cuyos perfeccionamientos comprenden: proporcionar el calor de vaporización por transmisión de calor desde un disipador térmico a la zona de evaporación y por transmisión de calor de condensación desde la zona de condensación a un disipador de temperatura baja, efectuándose al menos unas de las transmisiones de calor a través de un sistema cerrado en el que un refrigerante es condensado y evaporado cíclicamente, y en el que la proporción de energía transmitida como calor a energía requerida para efectuar la transmisión, es de, al menos 15.
