Abstract
Un método de enfriar materiales, empleado refrigeración criógena almacenada, caracterizado por comprender la etapas de: suministrar criógeno a una cámara; controlar la temperatura y la presión de dicho criógeno en dicha cámara de modo que el mismo esté en su punto triple en el cual nieve húmeda, parcialmente derretida, y vapor existen en equilibrio; retirar criógeno de dicha cámara de modo de aumentar el porcentaje de criógeno sólido en la misma, formando así un depósito de agente de enfriamiento a baja temperatura; y retener en dicha cámara dicho criógeno sólido, mientras el potencial de refrigeración del mismo se emplea para enfriar materiales de un modo que causa el derretimiento de dicho criógeno sólido para formar criógeno líquido.
