Abstract

Mejoras en los métodos de obtención de aceros para herramientas con baja aleación y para alta velocidad, caracterizadas porque se actúa por vía metalúrgica de tal manera que se obtenga una aleación, en porcentaje en peso, de 0,85-1,00% de C, 0,40-1,00% de Si, 1,5-3,0% de Cr, preferentemente 2,2-3,0%, 4,0-6,0% de Mo, 1,0-2,0% de W, 1,0-2,0% de V y 0,04-0,08% de N, consistiendo el resto en hierro e impurezas que se hallan usualmente en aceros para herramientas, tales como hasta 1,0% de Co, hasta 0,4% de Mn y hasta 0,03% de S y de P.
