1529554 High speed tool steel FAGERSTA AB 24 June 1977 [9 July 1976] 26494/77 Heading C7A A high-speed tool steel consists in wt. per cent of: C 0À85-1À0, Si 0À4-1À0, Cr 1À5-3À0, Mo 4À0- 6À0, W 1À0-2À0, V 1À0-2À0, N 0À04-0À08, Fe the balance and impurities e.g. Co up to 1, Mn up to 0À4, S and P up to 0À03. The hardness/toughness ratio is optimum at about 2À5% Cr.
