Abstract
Un procedimiento para la recuperación de cloro a partir de gases que contienen cloro que comprende las etapas siguientes: a) separar de la mezcla gaseosa que contiene cloro, bien sea antes o después de la etapa (b) siguiente, aquellos gases que, en caso de estar presentes en la mezcla gaseosa en cantidad sustancial, formarían sólidos o se licuarían con el cloro en las etapas subsiguientes del procedimiento; (b)imprimir la mezcla gaseosa que contiene cloro; (c) enfriar la mezcla gaseosa comprimida en un cambiador de calor de corrientes múltiples a una temperatura inferior al punto de roció del cloro en la mezcla gaseosa pero no inferior a -101ºC, produciéndose asi un gas que contiene cloro líquido; (d) retirar la mezcla gaseosa enfriada del cambiador de calor y separar las fases liquida y gaseosa presentes en la mezcla; (e) recircular el cloro de (d) por separado a través del cambiador de calor y recuperar así el cloro para su almacenamiento y/o reutilización.
